Comunicato ENCI

Abbiamo atteso qualche giorno prima di intervenire pubblicamente. In questo periodo siamo stati impegnati a lavorare con i nostri uffici per definire gli ultimi dettagli del World Dog Show, seguire l’allestimento dei padiglioni, testare i servizi informatici e risolvere le ultime questioni organizzative.

Con la serenità che deriva dalla correttezza del nostro operato, confermiamo quanto riportato dagli organi di stampa: è in corso un’indagine relativa alla strategia di comunicazione adottata da ENCI attraverso la trasmissione “Dalla parte degli animali”.

Riponendo la massima fiducia nelle istituzioni, con le quali collaboriamo quotidianamente, ci siamo immediatamente messi a disposizione degli organi competenti, fornendo tutta la documentazione utile a fare piena chiarezza. Auspichiamo che ciò possa avvenire nel più breve tempo possibile, confermando la piena legittimità delle iniziative intraprese dall’Ente. Al contempo, esprimiamo la nostra totale solidarietà al Presidente, interessato nella vicenda esclusivamente in qualità di legale rappresentante dell’ENCI.

Questa situazione ci ha profondamente rattristati, ma abbiamo ricevuto numerose attestazioni di stima e vicinanza da parte dei Soci ENCI e di tanti appassionati del mondo cinofilo. A tutti loro desideriamo rivolgere il nostro più sincero ringraziamento.

Ora, però, è il momento di guardare avanti. Dopo mesi di preparazione e un lavoro intenso, il World Dog Show è finalmente alle porte. Il modo migliore che conosciamo per rispondere è trasformare ancora una volta questo appuntamento, come avvenne nello storico evento del 2015, in una grande festa della cinofilia mondiale e nel più importante momento di incontro e confronto tra allevatori, appassionati ed esperti provenienti da ogni parte del mondo.

Invitiamo quindi tutti i cinofili a vivere con entusiasmo queste giornate, ad accogliere con il calore e l’ospitalità che ci contraddistinguono i numerosissimi espositori stranieri e a collaborare con noi affinché ogni eventuale criticità possa essere affrontata e risolta nel migliore dei modi, a fronte di una partecipazione straordinaria di persone e cani.

È questa la risposta più bella e più forte che possiamo dare: per noi stessi, per l’ENCI, per la cinofilia italiana e, soprattutto, per i nostri cani.

We waited a few days before issuing a public statement. During this time, we have been working closely with our offices to finalize the last details of the World Dog Show, oversee the preparation of the exhibition halls, test IT services, and address the remaining organizational matters.

With the confidence that comes from knowing we have acted correctly and transparently, we confirm what has been reported in the media: an investigation is currently underway regarding the communication strategy adopted by ENCI through the television programme “Dalla Parte degli Animali” (“On the Side of Animals”).

Placing our utmost trust in the institutions with which we work on a daily basis, we immediately made ourselves available to the relevant authorities, providing all documentation necessary to ensure full transparency and clarification of the matter. We hope that this process will be concluded as soon as possible, confirming the full legitimacy of every initiative undertaken by ENCI. At the same time, we wish to express our full solidarity with our President, who is involved in this matter solely in his capacity as the legal representative of the Organization.

This situation has deeply saddened us. However, we have received countless expressions of support and esteem from ENCI members and from many people across the canine community. To all of them, we extend our heartfelt thanks.

Now, however, it is time to look ahead. After months of preparation and dedicated work, the World Dog Show is finally just around the corner. The best response we can offer is to once again make this event—just as we did during the memorable 2015 edition—a true celebration of the canine world and the foremost occasion for breeders, exhibitors and enthusiasts from around the globe to meet, exchange ideas and share their passion.

We therefore invite all members of the canine community to enjoy these special days, to make the many international exhibitors feel welcome, and to work together with us should any issues arise as a result of the extraordinary number of people and dogs attending the event.

This is the strongest response we can give: for ourselves, for ENCI, for Italian cynology, and above all, for our dogs.
